Most girls find the right level of awkwardness to be extremely cute. If you cross paths with her, try breaking the ice. Odds are she has some sort of button, pin, patch, t-shirt, logo, or sticker that relates to your interests - comment on it. That conversation will usually die quickly, but if you can transfer subject matter to 'out and about' (either what you're currently headed to go do or what she's doing) you can likely drop a location ("I live just over there") -- if she continues to route past your house regularly, she is (at minimal) not opposed to bumping into you.
