We're still very new and trying to figure out just how we want to handle our web-presence. My only fear with a facebook page is that we'll draw in super casual (farmville) gamers. But I suppose Facebook is a tool like any other, and it'd help get the word out.

Welcome to our community, Corby! Although we're still a developing site I think you'll find that we're a pleasant enough group of people.

James - although I understand your fears towards marketing the site through Facebook, I think you'll find that it can be a very useful tool. The type of gamers you don't want to attract play games casually and have no desire to seek out "gaming groups". Most of them are perfectly fine with playing Farmville with their Facebook friends and have no desire to do anything more than that.

Somehow I have never heard of them.

Also: Kudos - your third post makes you a full-fledged member of the community and safe from the moderation queue.
